litterbug.jpg  Thanks for stopping by today!  I have got to share this with you because I was just appalled that this happened right before my eyes.

Monday night after work, I stopped by the grocery store, I won’t say which one.  I had to pick up, get this, bread and milk.  It’s just funny to me, picking up bread and milk.  Anyway, as I was leaving the store, a woman kind of in front of me and to the right slightly, opened up a pack of cigarettes and threw the plastic and the inside silver tab ON THE GROUND!  I thought to myself, “oh no she didn’t!”  So I said to her, kinda loud, ”you dropped some trash.”  She said ”oh, I thought I put it in my pocket.”  Yeah right.  And she still didn’t get all of it.  And the thing that really bothers me, she appeared to be an employee of that grocery store!

There are two trashcans at the front door entrance of this store, one on either side, and she’s gotta throw her trash on the ground!  Just disgusting.  That really bothers me.  I’m glad I said something to her.  I hope I embarrassed her real good too (there was another lady standing close by).

I hope the next time she throws her trash on the ground she’ll flashback to Monday night, hear my voice, and turn around and pick that trash up.  Seriously, how much easier can these grocery stores make it for us?!  They have trashcans out in the parking lot and at the store front.  Out of, let’s say, 5 trash cans, you gotta throw your trash on the ground??  Seriously.

monograme.jpg  Well, I am back from vacation…. getting ready to take another one!  I can’t wait!  In just a couple weeks I am going to be heading out to soak in the glorious Grand Canyon and then hit it big in Las Vegas baby!  That’s for another blog.

Okay, I need your help finding monogram letters.  I see these decals on so many cars… but every store I go to, they don’t have the monogram letters.  WHERE IS EVERYONE GETTING THESE?  I did stop at one store, and they wanted $18.00 for one letter that I would have to order!  Is that really how much they cost?  I am looking for an “S,” so if you know where I can get one, please tell me.  (The “E” up there is pretty, but I don’t want an “E.”)

Thank you!

detroit.jpg  Thanks for dropping in.  Today, I was talking with one of my buddies who works in radio in Detroit.  It’s just so sad, so many of the listeners calling into his station’s morning show are just in tears.  1. Over the Lion’s so far scoreless season and 2. The terrible things the city has been through just this year.  They’re spirits have just been decimated!

So this weekend, I say let’s ALL root for a Detroit Lion’s win!!!  If anything, for the humanity!!!  C’mon Lions, do it for your die-hard fans!!!

And click here for a nice little Christmas Greeting!

Yeah, today’s a good day!  OJ’s going to jail.  My friend Mike got a job.  I actually dragged my behind out of bed and went to the gym… and actually worked out!  We’ve got our holiday party tonight and this weekend I get to learn how to install a water line in the refrigerator!  I’ll be helping my dad with that!  Life is good.

gibson.jpg   First, thanks for stopping by my blog today.

This is Gibson!  He is the latest tenant at the Greenville Humane Society.  We are all hoping for a short stay for Gibson!  Watch video of Gibson above!  He is a 3 year old Akita.  He’s a little nutty, but calms down quickly.  If you’ve got a big backyard Gibson can call a playground, then he’s your guy!  Call the Greenville Humane Society for more information, 864-242-3626.

treadmill2.jpg(I wish I looked this good.  I’d have to grow like 5 inches though!)

This morning I was at the gym… trying to lose weight an all… and while I was walking/running on the treadmill, I was watching the Today Show on channel 4.  I wasn’t there by myself, there was another woman working out in the “ladies only” area.  Well, Matt Lauer and his guest were discussing the healthiest states in the U.S., Vermont coming in as THE HEALTHIEST.  Hawaii 2 and New Hampshire was either 3 or 4.  Next, the UNhealthiest states in the U.S. came up.  You know South Carolina was in there.  Out of 50 states, 50 being the UNhealthiest state, South Carolina came in at 48!  I almost fell off the treadmill!  I started laughing out loud.  I said to the other lady who was in the workout area with me “South Carolina rounds out the top 5 states that are deemed the UNhealthiest out of 50 states!”  (She was lifting weights by now, standing in front of the long mirror)  She looked at me in the mirror and said “I can’t hear you,” looked a moment longer and then looked away to go lift her bar again.  She had her ipod headphones in.

She ticked me off!!!  How rude!  You can’t pull the earphone out and share?!?!  I was even going to compliment us by saying good thing we are here [in the gym]  trying to lower that statistic!  But no, she just had to be rude and schluff me off, even though I was laughing and wanted to share something funny.  That’s what you get trying to be nice.  Schluffed off.

Well, later in the morning I stopped by Spinx gas station on Fairview Road in Simpsonville.  I was going in to get a carwash, but the carwasher wasn’t working.  So my lovely friend Bonnie over there at Spinx gave me a complementary car wash for the next time I pop in.  She is fabulous!  Now that, was nice!
