WARNING SIGNS YOUR CHILD MAY BE OVERSCHEDULED

PARENTS, ASK YOURSELF THESE QUESTIONS TO CHECK IF YOUR CHILD’S GETTING ENOUGH DOWNTIME.

DO THEY ACT GROUCHY, MOPEY OR IRRITABLE? CAN THEY FALL ASLEEP AT BEDTIME?

HAVE THEY STARTED OVEREATING?

DO THEY ZONE OUT IN FRONT OF THE TV?

ARE THEY COMPLAINING OF STOMACH ACHES, HEADACHES OR MYSTERIOUS ILLNESSES?

ARE THEY OVERANXIOUS ABOUT GETTING APPROVAL FROM AUTHORITY FIGURES?

CAN THEY KEEP TRACK OF WHERE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE?

AND IS THEIR SCHEDULE DRAINING YOU AND YOUR FAMILY?

IF YOUR CHILD OR CHILDREN EXHIBIT THESE BEHAVIORS ON AN ONGOING BASIS, YOU MAY WANT TO RE-EXAMINE THEIR AFTER SCHOOL SCHEDULE.

ALL XTERIORS have been working at Entercom Greenville for the past few weeks, giving us a much needed make-over!  The paint job is just beautiful… and we have a lot of walls in this place to paint!  The guys from All Xteriors have been a blast to have around.  They’re a funny crew, love to cut up with us, but they get the job done and they get the job done right.  Very nice work guys!

If you need a make-over at your place of business or at home, give Eddie and his crew from All Xteriors a call, 864-991-8580.  Their address is 25 W. Lee Road, Taylors, SC 29687.

I couldn’t resist this shot!  Who wouldn’t?!?  Hard at work!  The picture to the left is when you walk through our lobby and start heading into the main building.  The windows to the left is our main production studio.  That is where we voice most of the commercials that are on the air!

Eddie yelling down the hall to me… “don’t lean against the wall!”  Obviously I didn’t read the sign. LOL

Left to right: Jennifer, Stacie and Elizabeth

Center:  Uno

PLEASE WATCH VIDEO OF UNO ABOVE!

Jennifer and Elizabeth are from Erwin Penland.  These two girls visit nearly every week, bringing by cutie batooties like Uno here.  Last week I wanted tthe girls in the WNW video, but the sun coming in the window blacked them out when the camera was on them.  These girls are great.

Uno is 3 months old, Lab mix… but she may be full bred.  AND she has a sister at the Greenville Humane Society.  Uno is just $89.50.  Call the GHS at 864-242-3626 for more info.

Also, this weekend, all adult dogs are $60.00 at the Greenville Humane Society.  You can wait to adopt Uno… but she may not be there this weekend!

So…. if you watched the Jon and Kate Plus 8 series premier last night… I want to know what you think.

My opinion, I think they need a break from this show and focus on each other.  Marriage counseling and family counseling.  I know it’s a hot show right now, but it’s also a 10 year marriage involving 8 innocent spirits that is (the marriage) headed for demise.  Come back in another 6 months.  Let the couple get their head and heart straight.  It takes two in a marriage, so no one is more at fault than the other.  Both neglected each others needs.  Whether it’s a hug every morning and every night or a little breathing room at the end of the day.  They forgot each other somewhere along the way, and I think they knew it, they just didn’t do anything about it.

Sometimes the greatest blessings come from faltering.  If Jon and Kate try, then I do believe that they can forgive and find friendship and love in one anther and move forward as a FAMILY.  But it takes two.

I hope you all had a wonderful, well rested long Memorial Day weekend!  I have to say, I had a nice weekend!  Greenville Hospital System’s Freedom Weekend Aloft was great.  I am so glad to have the festivities in Simpsonville… and not just because Heritage Park is only 10 minutes from my house.  Heritage Park is beautiful!  And there are plenty of place to sit down under trees, areas to play frisbee in, and just overall a very pretty park.  And the hot air balloons… it just gave me a sense of pride to see these wonderful balloons taking off from our city.  Too cool.

Firefall was great Saturday night!  I wish it wouldn’t have poured on us, but still a great time.  Bilo had a wonderful spread in the sponor tent.  Hamburgers, hotdogs, salads, chips wonderful cake.  Delicious.  PICTURES!  If you would like to see pictures from FWA, BD Digital Images.  Bob and his wife are great.  The link is www.bddigitalimages.com I think Bob has a picture of me on stage holding my flags before I went on to introduce Firefall Saturday night.

Now, later Saturday night, when the rains came, I dropped my phone in a puddle of water.  Just terrible.  So I was without phone service… well, not entirely.  I could receive calls, I just couldn’t make calls.  So yesterday I went over to the AT&T store on Woodruff Road and picked up a Samsung Eternity.  THIS PHONE IS SO COOL!!!  I love it!  Thank you Sarah for helping me out.  OH yeah, and yesterday I locked myself out of my car.  (It’s been a weekend for dummy moves for me) and I had to ask my husband to leave work early to let me in.  He didn’t have a probelm leaving work early!  (yeah, he had to work on Memorial Day!)

Now I am back at work, ready to go.  Oh, I do have Facebook now and some of you emailed saying you can find me.  I don’t know why.  I need to figure that out.  I did a search for myself and a bunch of other Stacie’s, Stacy’s, Stacey’s, Staci’s came up (I think I covered them all) but not me.  I’ll try and find out why.

Have a wonderful day!  Talk to you soon!

U.S. News and World Report , in its annual report, says that drivers in New York scored the worst on driving habits, followed by California and Geogia.  I certainly agree with Georgia but I think that South Carolina should be included in the top 5 too.  On the way to work and other activities, drivers in this state are getting worse at speeding , running red lights and tailgating.  It is sad to see this trend developing but civility when it comes to driving is becoming a thing of the past..Lee

PLEASE WATCH VIDEO OF ORION ABOVE!

His name is Orion, but I thought he looked like a quilt when he first came into the studio. But Elizabeth from Erwin Penland called it best, Orion looks like Cookies & Cream icecream when you first open the tub! Hilarious.

Orion is an Australian Shepherd Mix for $89.50 from the Greenville Humane Society.  He is 2 months old and already neutered.  TAKE THIS CUTIE BATOOTIE HOME TODAY!

Orion “Lite Rock’n” in the Magic studio!  (dont’ worry, I didn’t have any sound running through my headphones, that may have hurt his very young ears)

Memorial Day is coming up, Monday May 25th.  Please don’t forget to display your flags.  Please don’t forget to go out and buy a flag if you don’t have one.  Please don’t forget to thank our Veterans and our current servicemen and women.  Please don’t forget to thank God for the wonderful country that we live in.  Please don’t forget to pray for our leaders, especially our President, Barack Obama.

And please make a stand for our honorable men and women.
