Hey…thanks for all of the good requests for the great halloween songs and there have been many good ones over the years…my favorite is probably Monster Mash. Vaccination is the best defense against the flu and swine flu. Here are the upcoming Clinics coming to Greenville, Pickens and Spartanburg. These clinics are “walk-ins” so pretty much a first come first serve. All clinics listed below are 8:30am-4:00pm

On the “tail” of learning to be more compassionate as in the case of Baxter and his patients (video below) I would like to vent.
I was on Woodruff Road and it was pretty much bumper to bumper. Actually being on Woodruff Road and not stuck in themiddle of an interseciton is a feat within itself! Anyway, even with it being bumper to bumper, I allowed a lady to make a right hand turn into traffic, b/c I knew she was going to be stuck there for a little bit. (Perhpas a little pessimistic of others courtesy) She was talking on her cell phone at the time. That doesn’t bother me. What bothers me is that she didn’t even wave to say “thank you.”
When that happens to you, does that bother you? It bothers me. Good thing peoples cell phone numbers aren’t there license plate numbers, or my bill would be upward of $500 a month!
Okay, I feel better now. Thank you!

Since we keep each other company during the workday ….here are a few easy ways to lift yourself …..this one is important…laugh some throughout the workday…give someone a hug and both of your moods improve…do a little exercise….practice deep slow rhythmic breathing and brighten up your work space with some plants or flowers…and I promise you the very best of today’s lite rock here on Magic…Lee 
This will make you cry. This will make you strive to be more compassionate. This will help you understand the awesome power of pets and a smile.
It really just hit me this morning when I got an e-mail from Shannon in Easley asking when we will start playing Christmas songs….well I can tell you that it won’t be too long from now….the weeks are flying by and yes , Magic will again be your Christmas music station for the holidays….how do you feel about us playing Christmas songs beginning earlier than anyone else…just wondering…Lee

So far, not too bad this week. I did mess up and stick my foot in mouth yesterday. We won’t get in to it, but I apologized. Doesn’t make things right, and perhaps ammend completely… but b/c I’m here today, I know I have an opportunity to not do the same thing again. Let go and move on. Believe, there are much bigger issues to contend with.
If this too has happened to you, do the right thing. You know what that is. You can’t take it back, you can’t change what happened. Move forward a better more knowledgeable person.
On our recent 2nd annual GHS Children’s Hospital Radiothon, we broke last year’s record of 210-thousand and this year, we raised 260-thousand dollars for the babies and children at Children’s Hospital. Thank you so very much for your generous donation and the money will be used for research and things not budgeted by the hospital. Needless to say it was a really great weekend for not only the employees here at Entercom but for the doctors, staff and patients at Children’s Hospital….Lee
