I had to let you know about this….the lastest news about mobile phone capabilities is enough to make anyone paranoid.  It seems that most newer cellphones are capable of tracking and recording your location at all times.  Both Apple and Google have this capability.  Apple makes the popular I-Phone device, while Google produces the software called Android that many other cellphones use.  Neither company exactly advertised this feature before it was discovered by outside experts.  Just thought you would like to know who is watching you…Lee

If you are planning on watching the new talent show on NBC called The Voice , don’t be surprised to see some familiar faces and not just the judges.  Contestants who have competed on past reality shows will again test their luck on the upcoming show.  Many people have tried over and over in their careers and never quite hit it and producers of The Voice said they wanted to be equal opportunity.  Unlike widespread auditions, which is the general casting method used in reality competition shows, producers of The Voice hand picked their 96 contestants.  I’ll be watching…how about you?  The Voice premiers on April 26th.

I have been following the story of the crafty Egyptian cobra who managed to slip out of her Bronz Zoo home and stay hidden for nearly a week inside the reptile house before being found.  Well now the cobra has a name……Mia, standing for “missing in action”.  The name came out on top in an online voting contest conducted by the Bronz Zoo….what a clever thing to do considering how much attention the story received in the media.  I voted for Cleopatra but hey, Mia is just fine with me…just keep Mia safely at home from now on….talk with you later…..Lee

Ever since American Idol became such a big hit with viewers..other networks are jumping on the bandwagon with their version of a talent reality show. I have been a fan of Idol ever since season one so I’m not surprised that other shows are popping up.  America’s Got Talent has done well, The X Factor starts this fall and now NBC has come up with its own show called The Voice which begins on April 26th.  The panel of judges has already been set and includes CeeLo Green, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera who , by the way, says she’ll share some of her not so good experiences this past year.  Hope it will be an entertaining show…I’ll be watching.  How about you?  Take care and talk with you later.
