We have some Dogs that are in need of some short-term care. Just a few days is all they need to be ready for adoption again. I have noted the ones that are fully potty trained!
This is Grover! He is such a friendly boy and 100% potty trained. He needs to be on antibiotics for just a few more days!
Come meet laid-back Susie, she is very low-maintenance and 100% potty trained. She has a cough but its improving
Karma has a little bit of the sniffles, she is very gentile and sweet. Needs fostering for about 7 days. 50% potty trained.
This sweet girl is Kagan and she is sister to Karma above. She also has the sniffles and needs a foster for about 7 days. 50% potty trained.
Baxter is such a little character! He is lots of fun and has a bit of a cough right now. He is also partially potty trained.
Please call 864-242-3626 ext 227 or come in today to inquire about one of these special doggies. The sooner they get better the sooner they can find their new homes!

OK with me

As mail volume continues to fall in the internet age and losses continue to rise for the Postal Service, the Postmaster General is warning that Saturday mail delivery may soon be gone and we may only get mail 3 days a week within 15 years. Think about this…just eliminating Saturday delivery would save an estimated 3 billion dollars for the Postal Service…I really don’t mind that move since my bills are now paid through automatic withdrawal and all the mail I get now is just junk…..Do you still find that there’s something special about getting a letter, even in the age of the internet…talk with you later…Lee

Vacation in New Orleans
Posted in: Uncategorized
Aside from London, one of my favorite vacation spots is New Orleans. It holds a special place not only in my heart, but for my wife as well. Just weeks after Katrina hit in 2005, she spent some time in the Musicians Village helping to rebuild several houses in that neighborhood. Each year we go back, hoping to see more progress in the rebuilding of the city we love. And each year, we see just a little progress.
The most amazing thing about New Orleans, is the resolve of it’s residents. Each year as we travel through the Upper Ninth Ward in the Bywater neighborhood we stop to talk with some of the residents and the stories we hear are amazing. Some of these people who went without a place to call home for months, even years. Losing everything, only to come back to the place where everything was lost.
If you ever make it to New Orleans, let me know. I’ll be glad to point out some of the must visit places!
