Last weeks Children’s Hospital Radiothon, I can’t even put into words… I am SO happy and HONORED that I was able to be there, in the lobby of the hospital. You can’t understand the difference that you are making until you experience it first hand. With your help- we raised over $305,000!!!! Do you have any idea how many children will benefit from your generosity?!? You called in, went to the website, we even had people stopping into the hospital to personally deliver their contributions for a better life for these amazing, brave, wonderful children! Tyler Burgess and Brett Myers came in on behalf of Southeastern Retail Decor and Fixtures to bring the children a $7,500 “miracle” donation…it is because of people like Tyler and Brett, and each and every one of you, that these children will have a life with happiness, and health!

Today was THE day…
Posted in: Uncategorized

My “babie’s” 1st day of school (K3). It went smoothly, except for his little sister being terribly distraught about him not actually coming back home with us after we dropped him off at his class.

He was so excited to play with the blocks and meet new friends. Also, we love his teacher! She’s wonderful:) Michael and I said bye and we love you to him, and he simply replied “Bye”, without even looking up. (He was too busy with all of his friends playing with the farm animals on the reading carpet).

Things I’m loving…

Things that making me smile right now…
~My “Babies”. OK, so they aren’t babies anymore. My son, Krew is 3, and daughter, Kaiden is 2. We are planning what we’re going to be for Halloween right now. So far, Krew is going to be a cowboy, AGAIN. Kaiden, a ballerina princess fairy, AGAIN.
~This WEATHER! I love Fall. Its my season. The temp is awesome, you can put all your windows down and turn off the air! Then come the leaves… I love the Carolina’s this time of the year!
~The listeners… I love the phone calls and emails from you all who “go to work” with us every morning. It is so much fun to come to a job that I love. I’m still getting used to Bo. Just Kidding:)
If you have any ideas for the show for Bo and I, please don’t hesitate to give us a call or shoot us and email. Like I said, we love hearing from you!
I will leave you with the Viral Video that had me laughing for a bit…

Juicing…

“21 pounds in 21 days, The Martha’s Vineyard Diet Detox“…. that’s what I’m doing. I will admit it is hard. I know if I just ate correctly and exercised, that I would be fine, but to be perfectly honest… I’m not to “into” exercise. I wish I was. I do love to run, well jog… My husband Michael should be a motivator. He is in great shape and always is trying to encourage me. Not because he thinks I should lose weight, but he wants to me to healthy. Which brings me to another thing. Am I working out for the right reason? Is is more important for me to have wonderful health, or fit into those wonderful jeans? Sometimes that question is hard for me. I am the mother of 2 out of this world awesome kids. So the answer is, Health. I want to be around as long as I can to play with them and chase them *(hopefully I’m doing it in cute jeans, tho (: )

Inlaws…
Posted in: Uncategorized
I have to say, I love my inlaws! Really, I do. I thought that problems with the inlaws were just those funny scenes in movies that made you laugh and realize how lucky you were. Apparently not. Bo says he is not as lucky as I am. Really, inlaws are great, aren’t they? Do you REALLY have problems with your inlaws? Maybe I can get more out of Bo about that soon!
And PS: Love you Ray and Susan Morris from Ninety Six, SC (I am pretty lucky!)
