Community Involvement

Just Kids encourages kids in our program to be actively involved in community development projects and to join clubs and organizations that upholds good behavior standards. These community service projects are intended to introduce and reinforce parts of our program to kids and to build and support the community and also to instill a sense of usefulness, a sense of belonging and a sense of volunteer in the community. We achieve this by sending kids to prep food at soup kitchen centers and help serve food, and participate in clean-up projects around our center and in the community etc.

Creative Arts

Expressive Arts is our unique creative arts program in which artists teach and reinforce behavior skills through art. This program allows their expression and creativity through arts and crafts, musical instruments, musical performance, pottery making, beads making, drama, board game challenging and role playing.

Purpose of This Introduction

The main purpose for this write up is to introduce Just Kids programs to you and solicit your support for children in our program in our quest to provide academic support and behavior support for at risk youth

Loved The Voice last night on NBC.  Christina was getting a little bit obnoxious, Adam said a swear word that didn’t get “dumped”  Blake was true to his form, a gentleman,  and CeLo FINALLY took his sunglasses off!  He has very nice eyes in my opinion.

Well, if you’ve forgotten the numbers, I have them for you.  My favorites were Jarrod, Beverly (obvious she was going to do Melissa Ethridge, but changing up the notes she did, I thought she just did great!,) Dea, Xenia and Patrick.  I know, almost all of them.  The really really did a great job.

Remember you can vote up until 10:00am Monday 6/13/11.
